Jalopnik mentioned the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but not the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! - the Z06 Coupe weighs 3,524 lbs while the Z06 'vert weighs 3,582 lbs. That said, both variants are still ridiculously fast.

When considering cars with comparable power, that's really not bad at all.

Yup. It beats the pants off the C6 ZR1 too, though now I'm having a tough time figuring out what they'd do for a C7 ZR1.

That is 200+ pounds more than my Taurus.

I really don't find that to be heavy.

Wow. Four hundred pounds heavier than the last Z06. Two hundred more than the ZR1.
I thought the Z06 was supposed to be lighter than the base car?

I'd say they did a good job; the C7 Z06 does outperform the C6 ZR1 around a track, after all.

Beats the pants off in what way? The ZR1 actually has a slightly better power to weight ratio.

I was under the impression that the C7 Z06 was faster around GM's Milford Proving Grounds than the C6 ZR1.
